About me

Tim Louw

Business owner and entrepreneur

As a business owner and entrepreneur, I have been involved in and understand all aspects of a business. Growing the business and troubleshooting, while finding on the spot and lasting solutions, is what I enjoy most.
I particularly love the hospitality and tourism industry, but I have a wide range of interests and a passion for all things business related. This includes building strong working relationships.
Having started multiple tourism projects, I am not afraid to take on new challenges and get personally involved on all levels in each stage of development. Getting my hands dirty is what I thrive on.
I have 10 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry from the ground up. Managing staff members and growing a business while ensuring we maintain excellent customer service and high guest satisfaction. I grew my lodge from 6 rooms to 25 rooms in 4 years.
I hold the position of Vice Chair of SATSA youth chapter, and have a 10 year network within the South Africa travel landscape across all markets.
My keys areas of focus are revenue generation & cost control, customer service, marketing & branding, relationship building internal and external, staff motivation & engagement.
I am a self-starter and thoroughly enjoy working in teams. My experience in tourism does not limit my skills, I chose to start a business in tourism and that can be applied across various sectors.
